Responsibility in the ’Real’ World

A provocative session of discussion and debate, moderated by Patty Salkin, will examine the very real, very practical, and very pressing issues of responsibility and action in preventing Wildland/Urban Interface disasters. Panelists representing multiple perspectives and different roles (fire operations, zoning and planning, senior fire commanders, homeowners, fire behavior specialists, emergency planners, and so forth) in preparing for and responding to fires will confront the choices they would make in a series of hypothetical scenarios.
